Tenders & Contracts

  • Establish a list of potential ‘tenderers’ for the works, in consultation with Client.

  • Collate all design documentation and technical content for issue as tender documents.

  • Prepare ‘Request for Tender (RFT)’ document, coordinate invited tenderers and issue RFT documents with al requirements and timelines that have been previously agreed with Client.

  • Respond to technical queries during the tender period, including those requiring technical support and input from the Design Team, and issue addenda’s as required.

  • Acceptance and receipt of tender submissions, review all tender submissions and identify any non-compliance with the RFT document, issue any clarification or supporting information requests as necessary.

  • Facilitate and assess the tender submissions, provide a Tender Report to the client with recommendations to preferred contractor.

  • Liaise with the Client and Design Team on any proposed cost effective design options offered by tenderers (if any).

  • Undertake/participate in negotiations on behalf of or with the Client.

  • Identify suitable contract systems, prepare contract documents for Client approval.

  • Notification to successful tenderer and unsuccessful tenderers.
